The CAP1298 is an 8-channel capacitive touch sensor controller designed for touch sensor applications. It features programmable sensitivity, automatic recalibration, and proximity detection. Each input is calibrated for parasitic capacitance and can detect multiple touch patterns. The device operates in Active, Standby, Combo, and Deep Sleep states, with low power consumption and SMBus/I2C communication support.
