Description
Description
The UCS1003-1 from Microchip Technology is a USB Dedicated Charging Port (DCP) power switch PMIC in a 20-QFN (4x4 mm) package. It supports a source voltage range of 2.9V to 5.5V and can deliver up to 3.0A (2.85A typical) with a 55 mΩ on-state resistance. Features include programmable current limit via SMBus 2.0/I2C, dynamic thermal management, undervoltage and overvoltage lockout, and backdrive protection. It supports multiple charger emulation profiles for compatibility with various portable devices.
