The TISP4500H3BJR-S is a bidirectional thyristor overvoltage protector designed to limit overvoltages on telephone lines to ±500 V across a temperature range of 0 °C to 70 °C. It features a repetitive peak off-state voltage (VDRM) of ±350 V and can handle non-repetitive peak on-state pulse currents (IPPSM) up to 500 A. The device ensures non-conductive operation for a.c. power contact voltages up to 245 V rms, making it suitable for protecting components rated at 500 V or above.
