The SP3085EEN-L is a half-duplex RS-485/RS-422 transceiver in an 8-SOIC package, designed for reliable bidirectional communication on multipoint bus transmission lines. It features ±15kV ESD protection, operates from a single 5.0V supply, and supports data rates up to 500kbps with a 1/8th unit load, allowing up to 256 transceivers on the bus.
