Description
Description
The SN65LBC173A is a quadruple RS-485 differential line receiver designed for TIA/EIA-485 and TIA/EIA-422 applications. It supports signaling rates exceeding 50 Mbps and features fail-safe operation under bus short-circuit, open-circuit, and idle-bus conditions. With ESD protection exceeding 6 kV and a common-mode input range of -7 V to 12 V, it is suitable for harsh environments. The device operates with low standby power consumption (<20 µA) and has propagation delay times of less than 16 ns.
