Description
The PCA85232 is an unencased LCD driver IC designed for low multiplex rates, capable of driving up to 640 elements with a selectable backplane configuration. It supports static and multiplexed displays with up to four backplanes and 160 segments, communicating via a 400 kHz I2C-bus. The device features low power consumption, internal bias generation, and can be cascaded for larger applications, making it suitable for various display configurations.
