Description
The PCA6416APW is a 16-bit I/O expander designed for I2C and SMBus interfaces, operating at 400 kHz. It features dual power supply voltages (1.65 V to 5.5 V) for I2C and port operations, enabling bidirectional voltage-level translation. The device includes configuration, input, output, and polarity inversion registers, with a low standby current of 1.5 µA at 5 V. It supports up to 25 mA sink current for driving LEDs directly.
