The PCA21125 is a low-power CMOS Real-Time Clock (RTC) and calendar IC optimized for automotive applications. It operates within a voltage range of 1.3 V to 5.5 V and features a 4-line SPI interface with a maximum data rate of 6.0 Mbit/s. The device provides accurate timekeeping with year, month, day, and time information based on a 32.768 kHz quartz crystal. It includes programmable alarm and timer functions, an integrated oscillator capacitor, and operates at temperatures up to 125 °C.
