Description
Description
The MAX3430 is a fault-protected RS-485 transceiver featuring ±80V overvoltage protection on communication bus lines. It operates from a 3.3V supply and supports data rates up to 250kbps. The device includes one driver and one receiver, with fail-safe circuitry ensuring a logic-high output when inputs are open. It allows up to 128 transceivers on a single bus and incorporates hot-swap capability, short-circuit current limiting, and thermal shutdown for enhanced reliability.
