The MAX3421E is a USB Peripheral/Host Controller with SPI Interface, designed for full-speed USB applications compliant with USB specification rev 2.0. It integrates a USB transceiver with ±15kV ESD protection, programmable pull-up and pull-down resistors, and operates with a 3- or 4-wire SPI interface up to 26MHz. The device supports both peripheral and host modes, featuring internal FIFOs and general-purpose I/O pins, making it suitable for various embedded systems.
