Description
The MAX3243E is a multichannel RS-232 line driver/receiver designed for 3-V to 5.5-V operation. It features ±15-kV ESD protection, three line drivers, five line receivers, and a dual charge-pump circuit. The device supports data rates up to 500 kbit/s and includes an always-active noninverting receiver output. It is ideal for battery-powered systems and wired networking applications.
