Description
The MAX3232CPWR is a multichannel RS-232 line driver and receiver operating from a 3-V to 5.5-V supply. It features two drivers and two receivers, with data rates up to 250 kbit/s and ±15-kV ESD protection. The device meets TIA/EIA-232-F and ITU V.28 standards, making it suitable for various applications. It requires four external capacitors for operation and has a low supply current of 300 μA typical.
