Description
Description
The MAX232D is a dual EIA-232 driver and receiver IC that operates from a single 5V power supply. It features two drivers and two receivers, capable of handling ±30V input levels, with a maximum data rate of 120 kbit/s. The device includes a capacitive voltage generator and requires four 1µF external capacitors for operation. It meets TIA/EIA-232-F standards and has low supply current of 8mA typical, making it suitable for battery-powered applications.
