The L4984D is a continuous conduction mode (CCM) power factor correction (PFC) controller in a 10-SSOP package. It features line-modulated fixed-off-time (LM-FOT) control, a proprietary multiplier for low total harmonic distortion (THD), and comprehensive protection mechanisms including overvoltage and inductor saturation detection. It is designed for high-efficiency applications exceeding 1 kW, such as desktop PCs and servers.
