The ICL3238E is a full-duplex RS-232 transceiver designed for low power consumption, operating from +3V to +5.5V. It features ±15kV ESD protection, a minimum data rate of 250kbps, and enhanced automatic powerdown, reducing standby current to 10nA. The device includes five transmitters and three receivers, optimized for DCE applications, ensuring compatibility with EIA/TIA-232 and V.28/V.24 specifications.
