The L6258EX is a high-performance bipolar motor driver IC designed for driving both windings of a bipolar stepper motor or two DC motors. It features a dual DMOS full bridge capable of sustaining up to 40V with an output current of 1.5A per winding, and peak start-up current of 2A. The device supports PWM control, four quadrant current control, and includes thermal shutdown protection.
