The EL4583 is a Video Sync Separator IC designed for NTSC, PAL, and SECAM systems. It extracts timing from video sync signals and computer graphics, providing outputs for composite sync, vertical sync, and horizontal sync. The device features precision 50% slicing, a programmable color burst filter, and a TTL/CMOS compatible No Signal Detect output. It operates on a single +5V supply and is housed in a 16-SOIC package.
