Description
The A5970D is a step-down switching regulator IC designed for automotive applications, capable of delivering up to 1 A DC output current. It operates with an input voltage range of 4 V to 36 V and features an adjustable output voltage from 1.235 V to VIN. The device includes an internal p-channel DMOS transistor with a typical RDS(on) of 250 mΩ, a fixed switching frequency of 250 kHz, and various protection features including thermal shutdown and current limiting.
